Wedding Countdown: Month 1/12

Assalamualaikum.

I recently got engaged to the man of my dreams, alhamdulillah! This means....

I'll be getting married in 12 months' time! I am absolutely nervous but I am soooo happy!

There are sooo many things to do, so many calls to make, so many meetings to attend, millions of forms to be filled, abd so little time!

InshAllah, I pray, everything will go reeeally well!

Sooo now..

We got engaged on the 29th of July 2014 aka 2nd Syawal 1435 Hijrah. Today, it's the 9th of August already, dah seminggu jadi tunangan orang! Even though we'd just recently got officially engaged, I know in my heart, I'd been his from the very beginning.

First Quarter (2014): Mixed Feelings

Been on a long hiatus..

Graduated (finally!) in December 2013. It was fun.. meh.

It's almost May now, almost 5 months, almost half a year after graduation and I'm already on job #3. Job #2 was crap. Job #1 is still priority no matter what.

"Why does she have more than 1 job?" you ask?
Well, it's due to my parents' request that I'm working job #3 right now, I don't even actually like it.
Things I do for les parents.. meh.

To be honest, I'm having mixed feeling about being a grown up. I don't think I want to grow up so much anymore. It used to seem so fun getting to make your own choices, but now, all I want is for my parents to tell me what to do and not let go of my hands.

I'm not ready to grow up just yet..

It's hard..
